Can we swim in the sea of The Ravenala Attitude?
The hotel is on the beach, in front of the lagoon, allowing you to swim in calm waters, without any waves. However, the clarity of the water may vary, especially after rainy days due to the proximity to the Citron River. We recommend wearing swimming shoes ! If you're an experienced swimmer, there are also other stunning beaches within a 10-minute drive from the hotel.
How is the beach at The Ravenala Attitude?
The hotel is directly on the beach. Sun loungers are available for you to relax, there are sunny spots for those who enjoy sunbathing and shaded areas under palm trees for those who prefer a cool retreat. Come and enjoy !
Can I rent or borrow items like strollers, high chairs, or baby monitors?
Here, we do our best so that families feel comfortable and welcome. You can easily borrow strollers from our hotel by visiting our Kids Club, where our Family Members will be happy to assist you. High chairs are available in our restaurants; simply ask one of our Family Members for one. We do not have baby monitors at the hotel, but you are welcome to bring your own.
Can I have the spa menu ?
In which restaurants can we dine in if we have the Half-Board Package ?
The restaurants included in our Dine Around concept are our buffet restaurant Mozaik, and five of our à la carte restaurants: A Tavola!, Kot Nou, Madame Ming, The Bistrot, and Ō. If you'd like to try something different, you can also dine at Lime and Riviera for a supplement. We look forward to welcoming you!
What type of food do you have in your restaurants?
In our various restaurants, come discover the vibrant Mauritian dishes at Kot Nou, indulge in the delicious Asian cuisine at Madame Ming, and enjoy authentic Italian flavors at A Tavola. Don't miss the chance to try Japanese cuisine at Lime! We also offer fresh seafood and a variety of international and Mediterranean options across our other dining spots. Do we have direct access to the beach ?
Absolutely! You can step right out of the hotel and onto Turtle Bay Beach. Feel free to relax on one of our cozy beach loungers and soak up the sun!
What is included in the All-in-All-out package?
With our All-in All-out package, you’re in for a treat! Enjoy delicious breakfasts, lunches, picnic baskets for your day trips, tea time, dinners, and a variety of drinks and sandwiches in our night club, "After," at the hotel. You’ll have access to a selection of local alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages until 11:30 PM. We also provide a mini-bar in your room that you can fill with drinks and local snacks from our Bulk shop. You can also have breakfast, lunch, and dinner at one of our 7 other Attitude hotels. What is the advantage of booking the Executive Beachfront Adult Suites?
As the name suggests, the Executive Beachfront Adult Suites are located in the adults-only part of the hotel and offer stunning views with direct access to the sea/beach. That's not all! When you book this room category, you'll also have dedicated sun loungers just for your suite. Plus, if you're on an all-inclusive plan, your lunch at the Lime Sushi restaurant is included.
Are the pools heated in winter?
We don't have heated pools. But don't worry, you can still enjoy a refreshing swim even in winter, with the water temperature at a comfortable 22 degrees Celsius.
I've heard you have many restaurants, but some people have mentioned issues with availability. How can we avoid this issue?
The Ravenala Attitude is our hotel with the most amount of restaurants _ 9 in total. Each restaurant offers a different culinary experience. To ensure a fair experience for everyone, we don't take pre-bookings before your arrival. Once you check in, you can book a table at the restaurant of your choice on a first-come, first-served basis. We look forward to serving you!
Is the hotel appropriate for families?
Absolutely! Our hotel is perfect for family vacations. We have a family experience designed to make your children feel like the little VIPs that they are from the moment they check-in. Plus, we welcome children aged 3 and up with exciting activities every day from 11 am to 10 pm.
At what time are drinks and snacks available at the hotel ?
Drinks and starters are available until 11 p.m. in our bars. As from 11 p.m. you can go to our nightclub "After" and enjoy a selection of drinks until late, on supplement !
Do you have a babysitter service ?
Absolutely, we offer babysitting services to ensure you have a comfortable and worry-free stay. The service should be booked at least 24 hours in advance. Here are the rates of the service (subject to change at the time of your booking):
• Operating hours: From 7 a.m. to midnight. Pricing: The first hour is charged at MUR 400, and each additional hour is MUR 350. For services required after midnight until 7 a.m., the rate is MUR 600 per hour.
• Transport costs: Transport for the babysitter is priced at MUR 500 between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m., MUR 1000 from 6 p.m. to midnight, and MUR 1500 from midnight to 7 a.m. Feel free to reach out to us on customer-service@hotels-attitude.com for more details or to make a reservation.
Can you recommend a taxi from the airport to the hotel?
We are more than happy to help arrange a transfer from the airport to our hotel. Please email us at customer-service@hotels-attitude.com with your check-in and check-out dates, the number of passengers, the number of suitcases, and your exact flight details. Once we have this information, we can send you a quote.
Is lunch at "Lime" (sushi restaurant) included in the all-in all-out package?
Lunch at "Lime", our adults-only sushi restaurant, is not included in the general all-inclusive package. However, it is available for lunch at no additional cost exclusively to guests who have booked the Executive Beach-front Suite on an all-inclusive basis. All our other guests have to pay a supplement.
Can we pre-book our restaurants?
Restaurant reservations are necessary only for dinner. These cannot be made prior to your arrival, as seating is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Meet us at the reception right after check-in to book a meal in our available à la carte restaurants and ensure a varied culinary experience.
Which activities are available at the hotel?
All our guests, regardless of the package booked, are welcome to enjoy a variety of complimentary activities. Land activities include table tennis, beach volleyball, petanque, and access to our two tennis courts (please note that tennis balls come at an extra cost). Our sports center, gym, and multiple pools are also available. Additionally, we offer free yoga sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Water activities such as canoeing, rides on a glass-bottom boat, snorkeling, pedal boating, stand-up paddleboarding, windsurfing, and aqua-gym are included and should be booked at the boathouse which operates from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
For guests looking for something extra, we provide additional activities for a fee. These include bicycle and scooter rentals, catamaran trips, small and big game fishing and diving with PADI-certified instructors, all of which can be arranged on request.
