On an island, sunscreen isn’t a small detail. Every swim releases tiny amounts of UV filters into the water - weakening coral reefs and marine life. You don’t see it, but it adds up and that’s why we act.
The best kind of sunscreen? Mineral.
A quick science refresher: most conventional sunscreens contain chemical filters that dissolve in the sea. These can disrupt micro-organisms and speed up coral bleaching.
It’s not always obvious… unless you know what to look for.
So instead of just talking about it, we offer a simple, practical solution: protection for your skin that’s far gentler on the lagoon, in a 500 ml bottle.
Our sunscreen formula is considered one of the most ocean-friendly, based on current knowledge.

What’s next?
This initiative is part of a wider commitment to protecting Mauritius’ lagoons.
It includes the opening of our Marine Discovery Centre, and support for local artists engaged with environmental issues through the Attitude Foundation.
