These Terms & Conditions apply to reservations and purchases made with Hotels Attitude.
A. General
“Attitude” means Attitude Hospitality Management Ltd, a company incorporated in the Republic of Mauritius with business registration number C08080852, having its registered office at The Strand, Lakeside District, Beau Plan, Mauritius; and also includes the hotels owned and/or operated by Attitude: Coin de Mire Attitude (Holiday Bungalows Ltd), Sunrise Attitude (Compagnie Marmite des Iles Ltd), Lagoon Attitude (Marina Village Hotel Limited), Récif Attitude (Pointe Aux Piments Hotel Ltd), Tropical Attitude (Tropical Hotel Ltd), Zilwa Attitude (Zilwa Resorts Ltd), Paradise Cove Boutique Hotel (Water Sports Village Ltd), Friday Attitude (East Water Ltd), and The Ravenala Attitude Hotel (Rivière Citron Ltée).
By using this website, you confirm accepting these Terms & Conditions. They apply to all reservations, bookings and sales made via this website.
B. Trademarks Notice
These websites contain Attitude trademarks protected under national and international laws and they may not be reproduced, copied or otherwise used without the express prior written permission of Attitude. Other trademarks referenced are the property of their respective owners.
C. Copyright Notice
The information, text, graphics, images, sounds, links and all other content published or otherwise contained on these sites (the “Contents”) are owned by, or licensed to, Attitude and, except as specifically provided herein, may not be copied, distributed, displayed, reproduced or transmitted by any means without prior written permission.

D. Scope of Application
These Terms & Conditions define the rights and obligations of the parties for online reservations of services offered by Attitude on its websites and govern all steps required for reservation and post-reservation between the contractual parties.
E. Validity
These Terms & Conditions apply while Attitude services are available on its websites. Attitude may, without notice or indemnity, suspend or permanently shut down the websites or online reservation pages. Attitude is not responsible for damages resulting from such changes and/or unavailability.
F. Communications
With respect to communications made to Attitude including, without limitation, feedback, questions, comments and suggestions: (a) no right of confidentiality shall apply; (b) Attitude may reproduce, use, disclose and distribute such communications, subject to its Privacy Policy; and (c) Attitude may use any ideas, concepts, know-how or techniques contained therein for any purpose whatsoever. If you choose to email confidential or personal information, you do so at your own risk.
G. Website Photographs
Photographs shown on the website are for information purposes only. Although effort is made to ensure that photographs and texts provide as accurate an impression as possible of the accommodation offered, variations may occur (e.g., upgrades, renovations). No claim may be made in that respect.
H. Pricing
We adopt dynamic pricing and room/product/service prices fluctuate based on demand and other factors. Before confirming a reservation, we provide a total price for the requested rooms and nights, together with charges for any additional products or services added. Depending on the room rate selected, payment may be due at the time of booking or later (e.g., upon check-in).
Prices displayed on the website are valid for 24 hours and cover only the items shown next to the rate. All prices include VAT. If taxes or dues change between booking and stay, you undertake to pay any additional amounts applicable at the time services are delivered.
Tourist Tax
Effective 1 October 2025, and in accordance with the Tourism Authority Act and applicable regulations, a mandatory tourist tax of €3 per night applies to all stays in licensed tourist accommodations.
The tax is charged per person aged 12 years and above, per night.
It is not included in published room rates or package prices.
The tax is payable directly at the accommodation upon check-out.
Exemptions apply to:
- Children under 12 years of age
- Residents of Mauritius
- Mauritian nationals residing abroad (upon presentation of a valid Mauritian passport)
- Complimentary stays
- Holders of a valid Premium Visa or Residence Permit
This contribution supports national tourism development and infrastructure initiatives.
Prices do not include insurance. We strongly recommend taking travel insurance. The price you pay is the price quoted at the time of reservation, except that if VAT or other government taxes included in the price change before your stay, we will adjust the rate unless your reservation has been fully prepaid before the change takes effect.
Unless otherwise indicated, meals and extras are not included in the room price (they can be added during booking or purchased during your stay). Prices do not include passport/visa handling, travel insurance, airport/port taxes, gratuities or similar charges unless stated.
You may pay using any supported currency. Exchange rates are determined at our discretion or by our payment provider. We are not liable for exchange-rate losses arising from card or other transactions processed via our website.
I. Honeymoon Packages
Special rates and advantages for Honeymoon packages appear on the Rooms & Packages page (policy section). To benefit, you must: (a) arrive within 9 months following the date of marriage; (b) provide a scanned copy of the marriage certificate within 7 days following our email request; and (c) present at check-in the original (or certified copy) of the marriage certificate. Failure to comply may lead to cancellation or re-accommodation to a lower category without refund, at Attitude’s discretion and subject to availability.
J. Payment
Customers must provide bank details as a guarantee of the reservation, using a credit or debit card via our secure platform (SSL). Alternative payment methods (e.g., PayPal, bank transfer) may be permitted at our discretion. If legal recovery is required, you agree to pay the attorney’s commission amounting to 10% (+ VAT) of such sum together with court fees.
K. Reservations/Bookings/Sales & Cancellation Policy
Any reservation made via the websites implies full acceptance of these Terms & Conditions and of the conditions applicable to the quoted rate or package. Only legitimate reservations in good faith are allowed; speculative, false or fraudulent bookings are prohibited.
Upon receipt of a booking request, Attitude examines whether the request can be acceded to; if accepted, you will receive an email of acceptance with a reservation ID, conditional upon successful card debit. If the card cannot be debited or the transaction is reversed, the booking is cancelled and you will be notified.
Acceptance email must be produced at check-in with valid identification. We may cancel or modify reservations at our discretion for reasons including (but not limited to) fraudulent or inappropriate activity or mistakes/errors. You are solely responsible for the choice of services and their suitability.
Cancellation fees: 50% if cancelled less than 15 days prior to arrival; 100% if cancelled less than 4 days prior to arrival or in case of no-show. Deadline for cancellations: 18:00 (Mauritian time). Terms may vary for special offers. Refunds, if applicable, are returned to the card used; booking charges are non-refundable. Any change after confirmation must be addressed by email to the hotel’s reservation department. In the event of a no-show or a cancellation, Attitude may debit the card used with the applicable fees.
L. Check-In
At check-in, you will be requested to fill in and sign a registration form and present valid identification as well as any documents required by your rate (e.g., marriage certificate for honeymoon offers).
M. Rooms
Rooms are normally available from 14:00 (Mauritian time) and must be fully vacated before noon on the last day, failing which an extra night will be billed. Occupancy limits must be respected. Behaviour contrary to laws, good morals and/or public order may result in eviction without compensation. Attitude Hotels have rules, regulations and policies in addition to these Terms & Conditions; failure to comply may lead to eviction without compensation.
N. Stay at the Hotel
You agree and undertake to use the room responsibly. Any behaviour contrary to good morals and public order will result in being asked to leave without compensation and/or reimbursement.
Complimentary Wi-Fi is available; you must ensure that the hotel’s digital resources are not used to infringe copyright or related rights. Protected works shall not be made available to the public without authorization.
O. Relocation/Rebooking
In case of unavailability of the chosen hotel, or in a case of force majeure, Attitude may relocate the customer to an equivalent category hotel for the same type of services, with transfer costs payable by the chosen hotel. No additional compensation will be paid. For airline rebooking, responsibility lies with the airline. For other package elements, we work with the provider to find a mutually agreeable alternative.
P. Bad Weather Conditions
If you cannot reach the hotel due to a cyclone/bad weather or transport problems (in Mauritius or abroad), you are bound to pay for the unused days. If you cannot leave the hotel due to such conditions, Attitude will try to find accommodation in its hotels (without guarantee). You must pay for the cost of any additional stay at prevailing rates.
Q. Various Exclusions & Limitation of Liability; Exclusion of Warranties
Attitude shall not be liable for non-fulfilment or inadequate fulfilment of services or sale of goods in the event of force majeure, actions of third parties, or your actions/omissions. Except in case of gross fault or negligence, Attitude shall not be held responsible for indirect or consequential damages. No warranty is made regarding internet access, availability, virus absence, or website uptime. You shall defend and indemnify Attitude against claims arising from your breach of these Terms & Conditions.
R. Claims
All claims related to services or your stay must be made in writing within 24 hours from the event giving rise to the claim. Emails must include: “Booking Claim + Reservation Number/Last name” in the subject. Claims must be sent by email, facsimile, or hand delivery to the respective hotel’s address.
