HOTELS, BUT
NOT JUST HOTELS
“Our mission is to create sustainable experiences, rooted in the local area and accentuated by encounters... Holidays that do good for those who experience them and for those who make them happen”
Vincent Desvaux de Marigny - CEO of Attitude
There are many ways to describe us. For now, we'll stick with this one: we're a purpose-driven company, committed to responsible tourism through concrete actions.
-
Our commitments are our compass
For the past 15 years, our business choices have followed the same guiding principle: to be socially responsible while maintaining a stable economic business. This often means we’ve had to be audacious and depart from the norm.
In July 2024, we were awarded B Corp certification. It is the ‘big one’, a demanding certification that recognises the impact of our social and environmental actions. It means we have officially joined a movement that is charting a new course for the business world. B Corp = companies that are best FOR the world, not just the best in the world.
PEOPLE FIRST
Taking care of us
Attitude is supported by more than 1,600 Family Members.
They are the heart and lifeblood of the Group, so it's only natural that we should support them through concrete actions : training and career development, health check-ups, benefits in kind, profit-sharing and more. Add into the mix a backdrop of respect for everyone's diversity and a desire to make a difference!

Giving a voice to local talent
Our aim? To put artists in the spotlight and support them, so that they can make a living from their art.
since 2018, we have been organising the Konpoz to Lamizik music competition. It shines a spotlight on up-and-coming Mauritian bands and singers, putting them centre stage. Through them, we can express the island's cultural basis.
Gathering around culture and its players
For us, culture is a place for exchange and a link between many different worlds, which often helps to change things. We organise and support a wide range of projects to liven up the Mauritian cultural scene: music videos, photo exhibitions, albums, festivals and even a series of talks, to debate issues that bring us together and that matter.

LOCAL ALL THE WAY
-
A taste for local
From plate to decor, we work with local craftspeople and suppliers wherever possible. This allows us to support local jobs and the local economy, promote local know-how and ingredients, and ensure the traceability of products.

THE ENVIRONMENT
& US
We want to share the heart of Mauritius and Zanzibar with you. But that means, in most cases, having to take a plane. While we will never close our eyes to the impact of such a journey, we are also aware of the benefits of responsible tourism for the economic health of these island destinations. So, in a simple, practical way, we're taking care to protect the local environment in everything we do and everything we offer.

For the love of the lagoon
We set up the Marine Discovery Centre in Mauritius in 2010, in collaboration with a local NGO. Funded by the Attitude Foundation, it is dedicated to preserving the marine and coastal environment. Two marine biologists, our Family Members, work to educate and raise awareness among the local community and holidaymakers.

Mineral sun cream Our alternativeEach year, 14,000 tonnes of sun cream are poured into the oceans, damaging coral reefs.
Sow today, nurture tomorrow
Since 2014, the Attitude Foundation has been supporting projects that promote sustainable development and local vitality. Thanks to a portion of the Group's profits and donations from many of our customers, the Marine Discovery Centre is fully funded. Attitude Foundation also contributes, among other things, to financing entrepreneurial initiatives, educational and cultural events, as well as craft projects.

Our words in action(s)
We love words, but we prefer deeds. All of our decisions and actions are backed up by objectives and monitoring indicators, which measure our results and our margin for progress. You can find them in our Sustainability Report.
