On 10 and 11 October 2026, the island will host a must-see sporting event: the Mauritius International Trail & Cycling Race.
10 October will be dedicated to trail running, with two routes on offer: 10 km and 20 km, through the island’s magnificent natural landscapes. On 11 October, it’s time for cycling with two bike races of 69 km and 89 km, offering participants varied routes along coastal roads and exceptional views.
This event promises a weekend packed with adrenaline, personal challenges and new discoveries. Lace up your trainers or hop on your bike to take on the challenge… or simply come along to cheer on the participants in a friendly and festive atmosphere!
On 2 and 3 October 2026, La Isla 2068 – the island’s major festival of alternative, pop and electronic music, organised by La Isla Social Club – will take place.
Get ready for two unique evenings filled with concerts, DJ sets and artistic performances in a festive and immersive atmosphere in the heart of Mauritius.
