This headboard was made from coconut by MAVENCI. They are the oldest manufacturer in Mauritius with 46 years of experience in reimagining material like wood, copper, lava stone and white sand through daring designs.

These tropic birds are known locally as paille-en-queue. Local artist Élodie Jacobé created these pretty birds using wood, braided vacoas leaves and driftwood.

You can find these fun plant pots in our bathrooms! Each one is hand-painted by The Indoor Jungle, a team of two sisters in Mauritius who use an eco-friendly approach for their colourful creations.

These beautiful macramé decorations were handmade with wood and coconut cord. You can find more of Catherine’ Merven’s intricate creations or maybe join one of her workshops on the island and learn how to make something like this yourself!

The stylish terrazzo stone on our bedside tables were sourced by Stone Specialists and assembled by MAVENCI.

Stone Specialists are Mauritian experts in natural stone, whether it’s sourcing the best quality pieces or restoring older stone to its former glory.

These cushions were designed by local creative textile company, Ennsel, exclusively for Sunrise Attitude! We love Ennsel and their playful prints are certainly one-of-a-kind. They’re also printed with water-based inks which are kinder to the planet!
