Bain Boeuf beach is just across the small coastal road in front of the hotel. It has calm waters and is good for swimming and snorkeling. On top of that, it offers a stunning view of Coin de Mire Island. If you're an experienced swimmer, there are also other stunning beaches within a 10-minute drive from the hotel.
The weather in Mauritius in summer, from November to April is hot, sunny and humid - making it a very popular tropical destination. Temperatures vray from 25 to 33° Celsius. There can be occasional showers, but this should not affect your holidays as it usually comes in short, hard bursts, closely followed by sunshine. The bus fare is at approximately MUR 18 to MUR 24 per way. The taxi rate for day trip is MUR 300 for one way, and MUR 600 for both ways. These rates may vary depending on the taxi and the destination.
Yes, there is a bus stop in front of the hotel. There are buses available to take you to various charming destinations in the North as well as to Port-Louis, the capital of Mauritius.
The local currency, the Mauritian Rupee is used everywhere. Euros are also accepted at the hotel and in select shops. However, we do recommend our guests to carry the Mauritian Rupee, for convenience.
