Sleeping in Zanzibar
Our 74 villas tell the story of Zanzibar. Inspired by Swahili culture and its many influences, each villa has been sculpted using local know-how. They are distinguished by their curved coral-coloured walls, colourful stained-glass windows that filter the light, decorative screens with unique motifs, and makuti roofs woven from coconut straw. The terrazzo, hand-cast by local craftspeople, keeps the interior cool; while the furniture uses local materials made right here in Tanzania.
