Welcome to Matemwe
In the northeast of the island, Matemwe lays out its pristine beach facing Mnemba Island.
There, the lagoon shifts into turquoise, palm trees sway in the breeze, and the tides set the pace.
Matemwe is a quiet village, alive with fishing boats, genuine smiles, and hand-painted dhows.
